What are
REFIRE Firelighters

A unique invention that turns “waste” into a viable, reusable product for use in households and businesses.  Paper dust, produced as a by-product of a paper packaging production process, is given new purpose, and reused once more.  A combination of virgin liner and already recycled paper, blended with paraffin wax to create the ReFire Firelighters.

The precise mixture of the compacted firelighter allows for an extended burn time of up to 20 minutes, meaning one Refire Firelighter should be enough to start the fire.  For indoor or outdoor use in fireplaces, braai’s, barbeques, or pizza ovens.

Odourless and residue free means it is easy to store and use, with no plastic or waste, simply use the box itself as further fuel, or recycle back into the system.  For safety reasons, keep out of reach of children or pets and use responsibly.

Ingredients

Recycled Paper

A combination of virgin and recycled paper, the “waste” dust is produced as a by-product of a paper packaging production process. Paper is 100% recyclable and biodegradable and is helping to create a greener, cleaner society.

Cotton

Also referred to as yarn or thread, this natural fibre comes from a shrub native to tropical and subtropical regions around the world. Commonly used in the production of candles, this has been used as a lighter wick for the firelighters.

Paraffin Wax

A petroleum by-product, produced by the refinement of crude oil into fuel. Although a non-renewable resource, an argument can be made in that this is a by-product and is better used than simply discarded.

Tissue Paper

A thin, soft paper, commonly used for the wrapping and packing of fragile or delicate items. A replacement to plastic packaging, tissue paper has been used to carefully wrap the firelighters prior to boxing.
